WebSphere Commerce V5.6.1 => WebSphere Commerce V7.0
A large manufacturer had an IBM WebSphere Commerce V5.6.1 B2B site that was no longer under support. The site hosted a catalog with related product documents, provided access to orders from all channels, and had B2B
catalog and pricing rules. There was a requirement to migrate the site to their new IBM i System with V7R1.
Alpine Consulting built and executed a migration plan to upgrade to IBM WebSphere Commerce V7 hosted on the client’s IBM i with V7R1. The plan included a migration of the custom connection to the backend source of B2B pricing and orders from all channel sources.

A midsize retailer wanted to replace their home grown online store application with a more robust solution that could grow with the company as their online business grew. Alpine Consulting assisted them with aa platform analysis phase where several vendors were evaluated and ranked with Magento being selected. Alpine
Consulting then worked with them to document their business requirements and implement them within the new platform.
The site was built and went live in a few months and has enabled the client to change content and products more frequently based on demand and marketing analytics. The business has also been able to leverage enabling promotions during peak times.
